This society strives to create a comfortable environment in which people with an interest in Japanese Culture can meet, participate in activities and further enrich their University experience, of course under the umbrella of 'Cultural Exchange.'
As a society, we believe that creating such an environment where International Exchange Students and UCLan's Home Students can interact will serve to benefit both groups, paving the way for new friendships and wonderful memories to be made.

Every year our Student Groups elect a new team of students to take their group into the new academic year. Being on a committee is a great way to become more involved with the community at UCLan, meet new friends and develop new and existing skills for your CV. Anyone can be on a committee, as long as you are a member of your Student Group. Students that are elected onto a committee through this election will start their role on 1st August 2024 until 31st July 2025. Could you be the next leader of your Student Group? Please note this is the final opportunity to become a Student Group committee member for this academic year.
