Whether you are a film fanatic or just want a couple of hours a week to relax and watch a film, then consider joining the film society. We are ran by film lovers, wanting to share this love with others. We put on weekly sessions for watching films, which will be decided by a vote, and discussing our favourite and least favourite aspects of films. These sessions will be followed by a social. Through this we want to bring people with similar interests together and get to know one another and have fun.
Every year our Student Groups elect a new team of students to take their group into the new academic year. Being on a committee is a great way to become more involved with the community at UCLan, meet new friends and develop new and existing skills for your CV. Anyone can be on a committee, as long as you are a member of your Student Group. Students that are elected onto a committee through this election will start their role on 1st August 2024 until 31st July 2025. Could you be the next leader of your Student Group? Please note this is the final opportunity to become a Student Group committee member for this academic year.
